September in Cincinnati is the seasons. The opening of the seasons, that is, for the numerous music and arts groups in town. Leading off is the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra with Disney's "Fantasia" September 5-7 at Music Hall.

The CCM Choral Series inaugurates the "Shakespeare Quadricentennial," a  two-year commemoration of the bard's birth and death, spanning his 450th birthday in April, 2014 and the 400th anniversary of his death in April, 2016. Hear the CCM Chorale, UC Men's and Women's Choruses, Cincinnati Children's Choir and Walnut Hills High School Ensemble in choral settings from the Renaissance to the present.
