If you hear the sound of trumpets in downtown Cincinnati March 30 and 31, it's not judgment day, it's the North American Brand Band Association's 30th anniversary national championship, to be held in the Cincinnati Masonic Center and at the Hilton Netherlands Plaza Hotel.  There will be band, ensemble and solo events during the two-day competition. Tickets for the weekend are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for children, with single tickets available for individual events.
