Music in Cincinnati in March, 2014, is "Les Misérables" and John Adams at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Bach (first annual Cincinnati Bach Festival), the tango (Linton Music Series), Stile Antico (St. Peter in Chains Cathedral) and Music NOW and Midori at the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. The month starts on a high note with Verdi's Requiem by the CSO and May Festival Chorus, led by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos.

The World Piano Competition's Bach Beethoven Brahms Educational Outreach series presents pianist Jin Uk Kim, silver medalist in the 2013 World Piano Competition. William White, assistant conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, will serve as emcee. The BBB series provides an opportunity for elementary age students to hear performances by professional artists in a concert hall setting. The artist perform pieces from the three main periods of classical music, baroque, classical and romantic, while the emcee discusses the lives of the composers, the evolution of the piano and historical events taking place in the world of art, literature and society.
