The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players is inviting its audience to join them onstage during the upcoming season.
Onstage will be at Music Hall, new home for the Chamber Players, which is made up of members of the CSO.
Audience members will be seated around the musicians on the stage, giving them the opportunity to witness both their individual and group performance.
The Chamber Players season opens at 4 p.m. Oct. 26 with works by Mozart and Bartok.

The CSO will continue its popular “One City, One Symphony” series in November with a concert saluting heroes. Performances are Nov. 14, 15 and 16 at Music Hall and will feature Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 (subtitled the “Titan”), Beethoven’s “Coriolan” Overture and the “Hymne à la justice” by French composer Albéric Magnard. Magnard became a national hero when he died defending his home and family from German soldiers in World War I. CSO Music director Louis Langrée will conduct. The event will again feature free neighborhood
listening parties, designed to explore the repertoire for the concert at
locations throughout the Tri-state. The sessions will be moderated by CSO

In conjunction with the concert and its heroes theme, the CSO is sponsoring an initiative entitled “One Symphony, One Symphony: Many Hands.” The effort invites the community to give back this fall through volunteer service, whether helping a neighbor or a charitable organization of choice. Volunteers may track their community service hours between Sept. 13 and Nov. 7 via an online form on the CSO website. Adults logging eight or more hours and students 17 and under logging four or more hours will earn a voucher redeemable for one free ticket to the Music Hall concerts Nov. 14-16.

Way and Give Back Cincinnati.
