May, 2014 in Cincinnati is the annual May Festival at Music Hall -- and also at New York’s Carnegie Hall – plus closing concerts of the season by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Linton Chamber Music Series, Vocal Arts Ensemble and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. Cincinnati Opera observes the centenary of World War I with Kevin Puts' opera "Silent Night," based on the same event, as part of its 2014 summer festival July 10 and 12 at Music Hall.
